fairly clean hotel in a beautiful building adjacent to downtown and durango and shops and restaurants. above average breakfast with peanut butter and the toast - well worth the money.

The setting was quite unbeatable and incredible within easy reach of a rail museum. The hotel was in a nice area, adjacent to the restaurants, and the river, walking trail, grocery store, and downtown shopping and restaurants.
Paid usd 5 per 24 hours to access the net, yet internet was terrible.

Chose this hotel for its location, just a block from the Durango / Silverton train depot. The antique decor throughout adds such charm and character. The room felt spacious, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable, nice for a restful night's sleep. The staff impressed me. They were attentive and helpful, especially at check-in. Breakfast was tasty too, with a cozy atmosphere to enjoy my meal. I did notice that breakfast options ran out quickly. There also seemed to be limited staff. The front desk didn't mention that some rooms don't have windows beforehand, which caught me off guard. Despite that, everything else made up for it, so I'm glad I stayed here.

The location was amazing, right next to the train station and downtown shops. Our room was spacious and had a cozy vintage feel. I particularly appreciated how helpful the staff were. The breakfast had some great options, although it could use a bit more variety. It was a good stay that I would happily repeat.
